Damp in the boot: what should be checked before refitting?
Logic7 is fitted behind the side trim in the boot. If the unit has been in contact with water, you need to identify the path it took to get there and fix the leak. The areas around the lamps, tailgate and wheel arch may need checking.
Protecting the electronics after repair does not replace removing the source of water. Repeat flooding or dampness is not covered by the warranty. Mention any damp and the condition of the mounting location when you submit the unit.
What does Logic7 refurbishment include?
We clean the board, remove corrosion hotspots, rebuild damaged tracks and replace faulty components. We also include parts prone to failure. After repair, we protect the electronics with a protective coating.
On the bench we check the power supply, MOST fibre-optic communication and all audio channels. In your enquiry, also describe faults that appear only after a few minutes of operation — this helps us plan the unit check.
What should you do if the amplifier has already been repaired?
You can submit Logic7 after a previous repair, flooding or OASIS circuit damage. Describe what was done and how the amplifier behaves now. If you have documentation from the previous work, include it with your enquiry.
Whether a particular amplifier can be refurbished is confirmed after assessing the board; heavy corrosion or mechanical damage may limit the scope of work.
