The radio will not
switch on?
Does pressing the button do nothing? Or maybe the screen is dark, but the music still plays? Tell us what is happening. We will help you work out whether we need the radio, just the screen or another part of the set for checking.

Start by removing the radio
Take a photo of the whole panel and give us the model and year of the car. That is enough to start the conversation. If we need the number from the sticker, we will ask for it — you do not need to remove the radio before first contact.
A black screen does not have to mean the radio needs replacing
If you can hear music and the buttons work, make sure you mention it. Part of the unit is still working, so it is worth checking why the picture has disappeared before you buy a whole set.
Check the power supply before buying another radio
The radio may not work because of its own fault or a power supply problem in the car. If checking the wiring is needed, we will explain that before shipping. This way you avoid replacing a working unit.
The car can stay in Bydgoszcz
Once we have agreed what needs to be sent, you can arrange removal with a workshop of your choice locally. The device comes to our workshop. Reinstallation can also be done locally.
You will know the price before repair
After checking the unit, we will tell you what can be repaired and how much it will cost. You can then compare repairing your radio with buying another one, including installation and any necessary adaptation to the car.

Mercedes Logic7 amplifier repair – no sound
No sound in a Mercedes W221 or W216? The Logic7 amplifier may be to blame. See why it fails, how professional refurbishment is carried out, and why it is worth repairing rather than buying a used unit.

02
You prepare the unit
Once we have established what needs to be sent, you can have the unit removed by a local workshop. Protect the screen and connectors, and pack the unit so it cannot move inside the box. Follow our guidance in the packing instructions.

24
months' warranty for selected repairs
We provide a 12- or 24-month written warranty for the repair carried out and the parts replaced — in line with the offer for your unit.
Show the unit and describe the problem.
The radio will not switch on and you are wondering whether it needs replacing? First it is worth checking exactly what has stopped working. A dark screen with music still playing is a different situation from no sound, no picture and no backlighting at all. Also tell us whether the problem happens every time or only after the car has been parked for a long time. This information helps us choose the next check. You do not need to know which part has failed.
What happens when you try to switch on the radio?
In your message, you can describe, for example, one of these situations:
- The radio does not respond to the power button
- The screen is dark, but you can hear music
- The buttons are illuminated, but the radio does not display the menu
- The radio turns on for a moment and then goes off
- After being parked, the radio will not start
- The radio stopped working after work on the wiring
Can't see your problem here? Describe it in your own words. We'll check whether we can help.
Does a black screen mean the whole radio is faulty?
Not necessarily. We have repaired, among others, a Hyundai LAN5202EHGB, where the picture disappeared but the sound and buttons still worked. After repair, the unit was tested. That is why we also ask about the functions that still work: they help us understand the problem. However, a similar symptom in your car does not have to have the same cause. We start by identifying the radio and describing how it behaves.
If none of the buttons respond and there is no backlighting, it may be necessary to check the power supply in the car. Do you already have the result of an inspection from a workshop? Attach it and tell us whether the radio was working during the measurement or remained switched off. Do not order additional work just to send the first message. First we will establish what information is needed in your case.
In some cars the screen, radio and amplifier are separate units. That is why, before removal, we confirm which component we want to check. If the equipment is being sent by a workshop, pass on these details and the fault description. This way the correct unit will reach the workshop, along with information about what it was doing in the car.
The radio will not switch on — what should you show the workshop?
When you contact us, describe how the radio reacts after the ignition is switched on and the button is pressed. A photo of the panel will help us identify the unit. Please prepare the information you have:
- The make, model and year of the car, and whether the radio is factory-fitted or has been replaced.
- A photo of the whole panel. If the radio has already been removed, also a clear photo of the sticker with the part number.
- What appears after switching it on: logo, backlighting, sound, or no reaction at all.
- Whether the volume can be adjusted or stations changed, even though the screen is dark.
- When the fault started and whether a workshop checked the radio power supply. Attach the results if you have them.
You do not need to know the answer to everything. Send us what you have, and we'll ask about the missing details.
Does a faulty radio have to be replaced straight away?
Not always. If the fault is in the radio and can be removed, repair lets you keep a unit matched to the car’s equipment. If the cause lies in the power supply or connections, buying another radio will not solve it. First it is worth finding the cause, then comparing the repair cost with the full replacement cost.
Before buying used equipment, compare the full part number, condition and return terms. Also ask about installation and any adaptation to the car. A similar panel is not enough to confirm compatibility. With a quote for repairing your radio, it is easier to judge which option is better for you.
Before sending in the unit
Does a black screen mean the whole radio needs replacing?
Not necessarily. If the music plays and the buttons work, let us know. The problem may be with the display, although the description alone is not enough to identify the failed part. Once we know the model, we will tell you what to send for checking. Do not buy the whole set just because the screen stays dark.
Will you check the radio power supply in my car?
For mail-in repair, we check the unit you send in. Any measurements in the car should be carried out by a local workshop. If these have already been done, send us the results and let us know whether the radio worked then. This will help us decide whether to look for a fault in the radio or to start with the car’s wiring.
I do not know the radio model. Can I still ask about repair?
Yes. Give us the car make, model and year, and attach a photo of the entire radio panel. If we need the number from the sticker, we will ask for it. You do not need to know the technical name of the unit to contact us.
Should I send the radio together with the screen and amplifier?
We will first agree which parts are needed for checking. In one setup the radio alone is enough, in another the screen or amplifier will also be required. Please wait for our reply before removing and sending anything.
How do you determine the repair cost?
After the fault has been described, we give an estimated cost. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, before we start the repair. It depends on the model and on what has failed. You decide whether you accept the proposed repair.
Who will remove the radio and reinstall it after the repair?
You can have these jobs done by a local workshop. First we will tell you which unit needs to be removed and whether any additional parts will be needed. You agree the removal and refitting price directly with the workshop. If it has already checked the problem in the car, send us its findings.
How long will the repair take?
Ask about the lead time when you submit the enquiry — it depends on the unit and the work required. We will agree when we can check it and when the repair should be completed. For mail-in repairs, please also allow for transport time both ways, as well as removing and refitting the radio.
How should the unit be prepared for transport?
Protect the screen, connectors and protruding parts. Use a rigid cardboard box and fill any empty spaces so the unit cannot move around. Pack any extra items separately so they do not knock against each other. Include the details provided when you made your enquiry. Photos and guidance can be found in the packing instructions.
