Initial quote form
How does mail-in repair work
step by step?
You do not need to come by car. Describe the problem and we will help you work out what to remove and send. After the assessment, you will receive a quote for approval — only then will we start work. If, after the assessment, it turns out the problem lies elsewhere or the unit is unlikely to deliver a lasting result, we will tell you before any work begins.
01
Describe the problem and show the device
Write what is happening in the vehicle, state the make, model and year. Add a photo of the device, the error screen or the nameplate sticker, if you have one. On that basis, we will initially assess whether we can help.
02
We will help you work out what to send
Not sure whether to remove the radio, screen, amplifier or another unit? We will advise which component to check, how to prepare it for shipping and how to pack the parcel safely.
03
We confirm the fault and quote for the work
In the workshop we carry out diagnostics, confirm the source of the problem and define the scope of work. We send a quote for approval. We only start work after your approval.
04
We repair, test and return
We remove the cause of the fault, test the device and send it back safely packed for refitting. Every repair we carry out is covered by a warranty.
"It is no coincidence that the toughest
cases from all over Europe come to us."
Units come to us after failed diagnostics, repair refusals and costly replacement proposals. We check what is actually damaged, whether the original module is worth saving, and whether we can repair it so that the problem does not return.
Frequently asked questions
and answers
The most important information about the free quote, the photos needed and sending the unit to the workshop.
Do I need to send the unit in to find out the repair cost?
No. In 95% of cases, photos and a description of the fault are enough. You only send the equipment once you accept the initial quote.
How long does it take to prepare an initial quote?
We usually need up to 24 hours to prepare an initial repair proposal. If the information is insufficient, we will ask you to provide additional details, which may slightly lengthen the process.
What photos should I attach to the free quote form?
If possible, attach a photo of: the front of the unit with the screen on, the nameplate with the part number, the fitting location in the car if the problem may be related to the installation. Good, steady photos shorten the time needed to prepare the repair proposal.
Is the initial free quote really free and without obligation?
Yes. After the initial analysis of the problem, you will receive an estimated price and the repair terms. Whether you commission us to carry it out is entirely up to you.
How do I send the equipment after accepting the quote?
After accepting the initial quote, you will receive an email with a link to the repair enquiry form, along with the shipping address. In addition, we will reserve the earliest possible slot for you to begin the on-site assessment.
Where can I find the part number or model of the radio/navigation system?
Remove the unit from the car, then look for the sticker with the part numbers and the manufacturer logo. The part number usually takes the form: 8T0 035 223 T (Audi) or A 212 900 45 02 (Mercedes Benz). Every unit has this type of nameplate.
