Do you not know what
radio is in your car?
Take a photo of the whole panel and give the car make, model and year. Tell us what has stopped working. It is a good starting point — we will establish the unit identification and whether further checking is needed during the conversation.

A photo of the panel will help identify the unit
Show the whole radio, not just the logo on the screen. If the unit has been replaced, mention it. A photo and any markings available are more reliable than choosing a name based on a similar unit from the internet.
Describe the problem in your own words
“The screen works, but there is no sound” or “the radio stops at the logo” tells us more than a guess about a faulty part. Add which functions still work. We will tailor the rest of the questions to your situation.
You do not need all the details straight away
If you do not know the manufacturer or the radio number, say so in your message. If a label or an additional photo is needed for assessment, we will tell you exactly which one. You do not need to gather the car’s full documentation.
We will use the previous diagnosis
Do you have a workshop report or a description of the tests carried out? Send it over. What matters is what was actually checked, whether any parts were swapped, and what the result was. That way, we can keep to the arrangements already made.
Posting or delivery by arrangement
Once acceptance is confirmed, you can choose how to hand the equipment over to Sochaczew. Before you come, arrange an appointment and confirm with us which unit is needed. Any removal and other work on the car requires separate agreement.

From Warsaw to the workshop and back
01
You report the problem
Send a photo of the radio, give the model and year of the car, and describe what is not working. If you do not know the name of the unit, we will help identify it. We will tell you whether we deal with this equipment and what needs to be sent for inspection. We usually reply within 24 hours on working days.
02
You prepare the unit
Once we have established what needs to be sent, you can have the unit removed by a local workshop. Protect the screen and connectors, and pack the unit so it cannot move inside the box. Follow our guidance in the packing instructions.
03
You hand over the parcel
We can arrange a courier on request. Provide the parcel collection address and the address to which we should return the unit. If a workshop is sending it, please also agree who we should contact about the repair price.
04
You decide on the repair
We inspect the unit and provide a repair price. You decide whether to proceed. Once you approve, we repair the unit and test it before return. If anything still does not work after installation, contact us and describe the problem.
You know the cost first.
Then you decide.
Repair after quote approval
Before dispatching, we give an estimated cost. After checking the unit, we confirm the price and wait for your approval.
Decide not to go ahead? You pay nothing for diagnostics or postage
If you decide against the repair, the unit cannot be repaired, or the fault lies elsewhere, diagnostics and return postage are free.
You pay after the repair
By bank transfer before the unit is sent back, or cash on delivery on receipt. We issue a VAT invoice.
24
months' warranty for selected repairs
We provide a 12- or 24-month written warranty for the repair carried out and the parts replaced — in line with the offer for your unit.
Show the unit and describe the problem.
Don't know the manufacturer or part number of your radio? That won't stop the first contact. Give us the car make, model and year, take a photo of the panel and describe what's happening. For example: “the menu works, but there's no sound from FM and Bluetooth”. You don't need to choose a model based on a similar photo or guess which part has failed. If we need any further details, we'll ask for them.
Don't know the radio model? Describe what's not working
To begin with, you can say:
- The screen does not display an image
- There is no sound
- The buttons do not respond
- The radio freezes on the logo
- There is an error or a code request on the screen
- The radio switches itself off
Can't see your problem here? Describe it in your own words. We'll check whether we can help.
Why do we ask for the radio model?
A single car model may have been fitted with different radios and sound system versions. In correspondence, we have also had a case where a customer selected the manufacturer only because the form required an answer. That choice does not help identify the unit. If you do not know the name, write “I don't know”. A photo of the panel and the car details are a better starting point than entering complete information at random.
If you have access to the label, show it in full. The end of the part number can distinguish between different versions of the unit. Do not copy the marking from a photo of a different radio found online. Also tell us whether the unit has been replaced. The current equipment may differ from what the car left the factory with, especially if you do not know its previous history.
Already have a diagnosis from a workshop? Attach the report or a photo of the faults and describe the tests carried out. Information on what was swapped and whether anything changed is useful. The simple conclusion “radio to be replaced” does not explain what was checked. This material helps us decide whether to accept the unit or whether further checks in the car are needed first.
Don't know the radio model — what information should you start with?
You do not have to choose the technical name of the unit. A photo and a description of what is happening will let us start the conversation. Send us:
- The make, model and year of the car.
- A photo of the entire panel showing the buttons and screen.
- A description of what is not working, and which functions you can still use.
- Information about a radio replacement or retrofit, if you know the car's history.
- The number from the sticker or a workshop report, if you already have them. Missing these details will not stop the first contact.
You do not need to know the answer to everything. Send us what you have, and we'll ask about the missing details.
Why do you need to identify the current radio before buying a replacement?
Different radios could have been fitted in the same car, and the previous owner may also have changed the unit. That is why the make and year of the car alone do not confirm that the replacement you have found will fit. Identifying the current radio lets you ask both about repair and about the compatibility of a replacement part.
Once the unit has been identified, we can discuss whether it can be repaired, and after checking it — the exact price. You can then compare that with the cost of a compatible replacement. At the first contact, you do not need to choose a solution yet. It is enough to show us the unit and tell us what has stopped working.
Before sending in the unit
What should I write if I do not know the radio model?
Give the car make, model and year, and attach a photo of the panel. You can simply write that you do not know the name of the radio. If we need the part number, we will ask for it. The most important thing is to describe what is happening — you do not need to choose the type of repair yourself.
Is a radio that fits the dashboard always factory-fitted?
No. The previous owner may have fitted a different unit in the same place. A photo of the panel and the numbers from the label help identify it. If you know the radio has been replaced, mention it in your message; we will check whether we service that unit.
Do I need to run a computer diagnostic on the car before contacting you?
You do not need to do that just to ask us a question. Start with a photo and a description of the problem. If you already have a fault code readout or workshop test results, attach them. We will tell you whether further measurements are needed.
Can I bring the radio in person from Warsaw?
Yes, to our workshop in Sochaczew. First let us confirm whether we can accept your unit and arrange a date. Before you travel, we will also tell you which parts will be needed for testing.
How do you determine the repair cost?
After the fault has been described, we give an estimated cost. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, before we start the repair. It depends on the model and on what has failed. You decide whether you accept the proposed repair.
Who will remove the radio and reinstall it after the repair?
You can have these jobs done by a local workshop. First we will tell you which unit needs to be removed and whether any additional parts will be needed. You agree the removal and refitting price directly with the workshop. If it has already checked the problem in the car, send us its findings.
How long will the repair take?
Ask about the lead time when you submit the enquiry — it depends on the unit and the work required. We will agree when we can check it and when the repair should be completed. For mail-in repairs, please also allow for transport time both ways, as well as removing and refitting the radio.
How should the unit be prepared for transport?
Protect the screen, connectors and protruding parts. Use a rigid cardboard box and fill any empty spaces so the unit cannot move around. Pack any extra items separately so they do not knock against each other. Include the details provided when you made your enquiry. Photos and guidance can be found in the packing instructions.
