We repair factory radios, navigation units and car amplifiers.
Initial assessment before delivery
Acceptance of the unit by appointment
12 or 24 months' written warranty — according to the offer
Do you want to bring
the radio in for repair?
Write or call before your visit. Tell us which car the unit is fitted in and what has stopped working. We will advise what to bring and when. You can also ask about shipping if that is more convenient for you.

Ask before removing the radio
Send a photo of the front panel, vehicle details and a description of the fault. If the unit is still in the car, do not remove it just to start the conversation. We will tell you what additional information is needed.
Bring the required parts of the set
In some cars, the radio, screen and amplifier are separate units. Before your visit, we will agree what needs to be checked. That way you will not need to come back for a missing item or remove things we do not need.
Do you want to come with the whole car?
Please agree this with us in advance. Acceptance of the radio for repair does not automatically mean dismantling or checking the car wiring. We will explain what we can deal with as part of your job.
The equipment can be handed over by a workshop or someone close to you
Let us know who will deliver it and who we should agree the price with. If the unit is to go back to the workshop later for fitting, let us agree that too. It is important that it is clear which job it belongs to.
Quote first, then your decision
After checking the equipment, we will tell you what can be repaired and for what price. Simply delivering the unit does not mean you agree to any work whatsoever. We will start the repair once you agree to the proposed work and price.
Examples of repairs to factory units
Repair of MIB STD2 PQ – touch not working | VW, Skoda, Seat
Are you trying to enter an address in the navigation, but half of the keyboard does not respond? Do you want to set a radio station manually, but the slider stops halfway and will not move any further?
Repair of Ford ACM module — no sound, crackling
No sound in a Ford Kuga, Escape, Ranger or Lincoln? It may be dry joints on the PCB of the Panasonic ACM module — not a radio replacement. Refurbishment 984 zł, 1-3 days, 24-month warranty.
Mercedes Logic7 amplifier repair – no sound
No sound in a Mercedes W221 or W216? The Logic7 amplifier may be to blame. See why it fails, how professional refurbishment is carried out, and why it is worth repairing rather than buying a used unit.
BMW amplifier repair – Harman Kardon, Top Hi‑Fi, Logic7 – no sound after water ingress
Water in the boot and a blown 40A fuse are a common cause of silence in the radio. Find out when repair makes sense — free diagnostics and a quote within 24h.
From registration to collection of the unit
01
You report the problem
Send a photo of the radio, give the model and year of the car, and describe what is not working. If you do not know the name of the unit, we will help identify it. We will tell you whether we deal with this equipment and what needs to be sent for inspection. We usually reply within 24 hours on working days.
02
You arrange the method of delivery
Arrange a date with us and decide what to bring. If the unit is still in the car, ask in advance about removal or have it done by a workshop of your choice. That way, before your visit, you will know what to prepare.
03
You hand over the unit
Bring the protected unit to Sochaczew or send it after prior agreement. Enclose the details given at registration. If someone is delivering the equipment on your behalf, tell us who we should speak to about the quote and collection.
04
You decide on the repair
We inspect the unit and provide a repair price. You decide whether to proceed. Once you approve, we repair the unit and test it before return. If anything still does not work after installation, contact us and describe the problem.
You know the cost first.
Then you decide.
Repair after quote approval
Before dispatching, we give an estimated cost. After checking the unit, we confirm the price and wait for your approval.
Decide not to go ahead? You pay nothing for diagnostics or postage
If you decide against the repair, the unit cannot be repaired, or the fault lies elsewhere, diagnostics and return postage are free.
You pay after the repair
By bank transfer before the unit is sent back, or cash on delivery on receipt. We issue a VAT invoice.
24
months' warranty for selected repairs
We provide a 12- or 24-month written warranty for the repair carried out and the parts replaced — in line with the offer for your unit.
Show the unit and describe the problem.
Do you want to leave your radio for repair in Sochaczew? Contact OEMatic before you come. Tell us which car the equipment is fitted in and what the problem is. We will agree whether we work on that model, what needs to be delivered and when you can bring it. If the radio is still fitted, start by removing the panel. There is no need to remove the whole set before the first call.
What problem can you report?
Tell us if, for example:
- The radio will not switch on
- The screen works, but there is no sound
- The radio keeps restarting or freezing
- The screen or touch function does not work
- The radio is asking for a code or will not accept it
- After repair, the previous fault returned
Please contact us before your visit. We will confirm whether we can accept the unit and arrange a date.
What needs to be clarified before booking a radio in for service?
If the unit has already been removed, send a photo of the full label and the connectors. If it is still in the car, at first we only need the front panel, vehicle details and a description of the fault. Please also include any information about previous repairs or parts replacement. If anything is missing, we will ask for a specific photo or marking. You do not need to work out yourself which component has failed.
Please write down what still works. “The screen responds, but there is no sound” tells us more than just “the radio is broken”. If the buttons do not respond or the unit stops on the logo, please mention that too. This helps us prepare the unit tests. Booking in a removed radio does not automatically include checking the car’s entire installation — please discuss any such requirements before your visit.
If the unit is brought in by a workshop or a relative, let us know who we should agree the quote with. Include details that will help us find the job. Also tell us who will collect the unit and whether it should go straight back to the workshop for refitting. The person delivering the radio does not have to be the one making the decision on price, but it is worth agreeing this from the start.
What should be agreed before bringing a radio to Sochaczew?
Before setting off, contact us to confirm acceptance and the appointment time. We will start by talking about the unit and the fault. Let us agree:
- What car and radio you have — give us the model, year and send a photo of the front panel.
- What is not working and whether the unit has been repaired before.
- Whether the radio has already been removed, or whether you also need help taking it out.
- Which parts need to be brought in and when we can accept them.
- Who will deliver the unit and who we should speak to about the price and collection after repair.
You do not need to know the answer to everything. Send us what you have, and we'll ask about the missing details.
What is worth checking before choosing a different radio instead of repair?
First make sure the fault is in the radio, not in the wiring or a separate amplifier. After checking the unit you send in, we will advise whether it can be repaired and how much it will cost. You can compare this with buying a unit that suits the car and with the cost of fitting it.
If you are considering a different radio instead of repair, check its compatibility with the equipment and the fitting cost. It is also worth making sure first that the fault really lies with the unit you want to replace. If extra work is needed on the car, agree it with the workshop before you collect the unit for reinstallation.
Before sending in the unit
Where is the OEMatic workshop located?
At Stanisława Staszica 86a in Sochaczew. Please write or call before you come. We will confirm whether we service your unit, what you need to bring, and when we can accept it. This way you will not be missing the display or any other part needed for testing.
Can I come by car and ask for the radio to be removed?
Please ask us before you come. Accepting a radio removed from the car for repair does not automatically include work on the vehicle itself. Let us know whether you also need removal or wiring checks — we will confirm whether we can carry out these jobs.
Can someone deliver the radio for me?
Yes, after prior contact. Include the details under which you registered the unit. Also tell us who we should speak to about the repair price and collecting the equipment.
Can I send the radio even if I live in Sochaczew?
Yes, you can choose to send it rather than visit in person. Before posting it, confirm with us what to send, what details to use and how to arrange transport.
How do you determine the repair cost?
After the fault has been described, we give an estimated cost. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, before we start the repair. It depends on the model and on what has failed. You decide whether you accept the proposed repair.
How do I arrange collection of the unit after repair?
Once we let you know the repair is complete, arrange collection with us. If someone else is collecting the unit, or if we are to send it back, give us the necessary details in advance.
How long will the repair take?
Ask about the lead time when you register the job. It depends on the model and the work needed. Bringing the radio in person does not mean it will be repaired on the spot — we first need to inspect it. If you choose shipping, allow for transport time as well.
How should the unit be prepared for transport?
Protect the screen, connectors and protruding parts even when you are taking the radio in your own car. If sending it by courier, use a rigid box and fill any empty space so the unit cannot move around. More tips can be found in the packing instructions.
