Car radio repair Płock — no need to visit the workshop
The radio stopped working after the battery was replaced, is asking for a code, or has lost sound? Send us a photo of the unit and describe the problem. From Płock, you can send the equipment to Sochaczew or bring it in by appointment. We will first establish whether we can help.
We repair factory radios, navigation units and car amplifiers.

After the battery was replaced
the radio does not work?
Has the screen gone black, has the sound disappeared, or has a code request appeared? Write exactly what has changed. The moment the fault appeared does not yet tell us what has broken, but it helps us start the check.

The radio displays a request for a code
This does not necessarily mean the electronics are damaged. Take a photo of the message and let us know whether the radio previously worked in the same car. We will check what further action is possible for this model.
It only works for a short time after reconnecting
Tell us how long the sound or normal start-up returns for. It is also important when the problem appears again. A temporary improvement does not mean the cause has been removed.
The battery drains while parked
In this situation, measurements in the car may be needed. If an auto electrician suspects the radio or amplifier, send us a description of the checks carried out. Checking a removed unit does not replace a measurement of the whole installation.
Find out whether the radio needs to be removed
Start with a message and a photo. If a check in the car is needed first, we will explain this before removal. There is no point sending the radio before we establish whether checking it will help in your case.
Choose dispatch or agreed delivery
Once receipt is confirmed, we will agree a convenient way to hand over the equipment to Sochaczew. In both cases, we will first tell you which unit and any additional parts we will need.

From Płock to the workshop and back
01
You report the problem
Send a photo of the radio, give the model and year of the car, and describe what is not working. If you do not know the name of the unit, we will help identify it. We will tell you whether we deal with this equipment and what needs to be sent for inspection. We usually reply within 24 hours on working days.
02
You prepare the unit
Once we have established what needs to be sent, you can have the unit removed by a local workshop. Protect the screen and connectors, and pack the unit so it cannot move inside the box. Follow our guidance in the packing instructions.
03
You hand over the parcel
We can arrange a courier on request. Provide the parcel collection address and the address to which we should return the unit. If a workshop is sending it, please also agree who we should contact about the repair price.
04
You decide on the repair
We inspect the unit and provide a repair price. You decide whether to proceed. Once you approve, we repair the unit and test it before return. If anything still does not work after installation, contact us and describe the problem.
You know the cost first.
Then you decide.
Repair after quote approval
Before dispatching, we give an estimated cost. After checking the unit, we confirm the price and wait for your approval.
Decide not to go ahead? You pay nothing for diagnostics or postage
If you decide against the repair, the unit cannot be repaired, or the fault lies elsewhere, diagnostics and return postage are free.
You pay after the repair
By bank transfer before the unit is sent back, or cash on delivery on receipt. We issue a VAT invoice.
24
months' warranty for selected repairs
We provide a 12- or 24-month written warranty for the repair carried out and the parts replaced — in line with the offer for your unit.
Show the unit and describe the problem.
Has the radio stopped working after the battery was replaced? Tell us whether it asks for a code, won’t switch on, or you simply can’t hear any music. These are different faults. It also matters whether it worked properly before the replacement. The sequence of events alone does not yet prove that the radio has failed, but it helps determine where to start checking and whether an in-car inspection will be needed.
The radio stopped working after disconnecting the battery
Describe the change you noticed after the power was connected:
- The radio asks for a code
- No sound after the battery was replaced
- After reconnecting, the radio works only for a short time
- Saved settings disappear after the car has been standing
- The workshop suspects the radio is drawing current
- After work on the wiring, the radio will not switch on
Can't see your problem here? Describe it in your own words. We'll check whether we can help.
When should you start with checking the car?
If the battery discharges while the car is standing, the first step is to find out what is drawing current. We have also received such reports concerning Logic7 amplifiers, but the mere presence of this system in the car does not identify the cause. Measurements in the car are needed. Only their results help decide whether the radio or amplifier should be sent for separate inspection.
Already have a mechanic's opinion? Send us the inspection description, the reference of the unit identified, and the results you obtained. What was checked exactly and after which action the reading changed is important. The general statement 'the radio is drawing current' may not be enough if a larger part of the wiring was tested. You do not need to interpret the results — attach the document or a clear photo.
If the radio works for a moment after disconnecting and reconnecting the power, tell us for how long. Does the problem return after standing, when starting the engine, or during longer listening? This description will help us better understand the fault. There is no need to disconnect the battery repeatedly just for the enquiry. If only a code request appears on the screen, we start by identifying the model and that message.
What changed after disconnecting or replacing the battery?
Describe how the radio worked before the battery work and afterwards. If the problem is the battery discharging while the car is standing, include any measurements you have. Useful information:
- The car model and year, plus a photo of the radio or its part number.
- Information about what was done to the battery or wiring and whether the radio had been working properly before.
- The unit's current response: code request, no image, no sound from the speakers, or no response at all.
- Whether reconnecting restores operation and after how long the problem returns.
- In case of battery discharge: workshop test results and the component identified by the mechanic as suspected.
You do not need to know the answer to everything. Send us what you have, and we'll ask about the missing details.
Radio or wiring — what should you check before buying parts?
If the radio does not respond, its power supply may need checking, and if the battery is going flat, the current draw in the car should be measured. The fact that it happened to coincide with a battery replacement does not point to a faulty part. If the workshop confirms a problem in the radio or amplifier, ask us to check that unit.
Once a fault in the unit itself is confirmed, you will learn whether repair is possible and what it costs. You can then compare that with buying a compatible replacement. A request for a code, a unit that will not switch on, and battery drain require a different approach — the price of a random radio from an advert does not determine what will help in your case.
Before sending in the unit
Can the radio ask for a code after disconnecting the battery?
Yes, on some models. Send us a photo of the message and tell us whether the radio previously worked in the same car. If there was already another fault before the battery was disconnected, please mention that too. A code request and a radio fault may require different actions.
Does a flat battery mean the radio is faulty?
No. First, the workshop should determine what is drawing current while the car is parked. If the measurements point to the radio or amplifier, send us the results. The fact that the battery is going flat on its own is not a reason to send the radio for repair — another part of the system may be at fault.
After a reset, the sound came back. Is the problem solved?
If the improvement is only temporary, the fault may still be present. Let us know how long it takes for the sound to disappear again and whether it happens when the car is started or while listening. That description is more useful than repeatedly disconnecting the power.
Should I send the radio from Płock straight away?
Contact us first. We will determine what equipment you have in the car and what is happening with it. If measurements in the car are needed, you will know before removal and shipping.
How do you determine the repair cost?
After the fault has been described, we give an estimated cost. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, before we start the repair. It depends on the model and on what has failed. You decide whether you accept the proposed repair.
Who will remove the radio and reinstall it after the repair?
You can have these jobs done by a local workshop. First we will tell you which unit needs to be removed and whether any additional parts will be needed. You agree the removal and refitting price directly with the workshop. If it has already checked the problem in the car, send us its findings.
How long will the repair take?
Ask about the lead time when you submit the enquiry — it depends on the unit and the work required. We will agree when we can check it and when the repair should be completed. For mail-in repairs, please also allow for transport time both ways, as well as removing and refitting the radio.
How should the unit be prepared for transport?
Protect the screen, connectors and protruding parts. Use a rigid cardboard box and fill any empty spaces so the unit cannot move around. Pack any extra items separately so they do not knock against each other. Include the details provided when you made your enquiry. Photos and guidance can be found in the packing instructions.
