From Komtel Serwis to OEMatic – the story of our workshop.
All we had was passion…
Almost 20 years ago, all we had was passion, a flair for electronics and the ambition to build a business for years to come. There was an idea – a GSM workshop. The first premises at ul. Reymonta 14 quickly turned out to be too small. People recognised quality workmanship. The rapidly changing reality and technology developing at a breathtaking pace also gave Komtel Serwis wings. It turned out that what was difficult for many – keeping up with the latest advances in electronics – brought us joy. Repairing and unlocking phones, replacing components were just part of the workshop's offer in those years. And although a short turnaround time was an advantage, after a few years the storage space was no longer sufficient.
We have to grow!
The move to Warszawska 66a brought not only many new customers and ten more years of experience, but also an expansion of the offer to include advanced service work – fast repair of factory navigation units, car audio servicing, unlocking, software fault repair and much more. Significant investment was unavoidable. Bench-testing stations for the latest navigation units appeared, along with BGA soldering stations. Of course, the workshop still provided services dedicated to the GSM industry – although the smartphone era also required constant upskilling and updating of technical knowledge. Soon it became clear that space was in short supply again. The decision was simple – we had to grow!
Komtel Serwis a recognisable brand
On 2 April 2016 the company moved to its current premises. The site was carefully selected, adapted and equipped to meet all requirements and serve present and future needs. The company can operate freely in a modern environment. A large service area, new workstations and an attractive retail zone are now the space of a sizeable business. None of this would have been possible without satisfied customers and the company's reputation, which is becoming locally synonymous with reliability. Numerous motoring forums refer to us as an effective and solid workshop.
An important decision
On 1 September 2017 an important decision was made for our further development – from that moment on we focused exclusively on the service of factory car audio equipment. OEM radios and navigation units are such a priority for us that we do not accept other devices for repair. The number of units repaired and customers from all over Poland and Europe only confirm that this is the right direction for the coming years.

Why did we decide to rebrand?
Our old name was misleading. It had to go.
We needed a more distinctive symbol. Now we have one.
We wanted to be more competitive, including in terms of image.
We want you to understand us better.
For several years now we have not dealt with phones, so the name Komtel Serwis was misleading.
Customers came to us whom we could no longer help. The old name had to go.
The new name underlines that we work on factory-fitted equipment – OEM devices.
We want you to remember us better.
It is important to be able to find us quickly in an emergency.
That is why we needed a distinctive symbol that would become our hallmark.
Our symbol is an exclamation mark (symbolising emergencies) enclosed in the letter “O”
We want you to see our value more clearly.
We are constantly developing our workshop and earning the trust of both business and private customers.
We want to talk more boldly about what we have achieved.
The new communication better highlights the strengths of our offer.

Our knowledge, skills and commitment.
