Why won’t the radio accept the correct code?

It happens that a customer enters the unlock code, and the radio won’t accept it. The restrictions on the locked screen and the time needed before trying again are not an obstacle for the user; they wait and try again 🙂
Unfortunately, after several attempts, the person realises that this is not actually the correct code for this unit.

The correct code has in fact been found

In the case of Denso navigation, after the code has been blocked 10 times by an incorrect entry, entering the correct code does not unlock the unit. In this situation you can keep entering it as much as you like; the radio does not lock for an hour, and after each confirmation it asks for the code again.

Code entry counter

The number of incorrect code entries is stored in the 9s12 processor memory. To restore functionality, the counter must be cleared and the unit programmed. The procedure is quite simple, provided you have the right programmer and information about the counter’s location in memory. Usually the whole service takes us no longer than an hour.

Is my code correct?

Supported models and versions

It is impossible to list all versions and part numbers; the most common are:

C307 / C214 – Nav. Module
C340 Nav. Module
CD132 – Nav. Module

All of them share the fact that the display is connected to the radio section, while the GPS module is in the passenger glovebox or in the boot under the changer.

The unit can also refuse to cooperate due to hardware faults – black screen, freezing, no radio, faults after an unsuccessful Polish language conversion or update, GPS reader failure.. we will write about these problems shortly.
