Locked Daiichi MY250 radio from Fiat Ducato — the display shows the message WRONG PASSWORD WAIT 0 HOUR 1264539205 MIN FOR NEW TRIAL.

You entered the wrong code. Or someone did it before you.

Now the screen shows the WRONG PASSWORD message and a lockout counter showing 1264539205 minutes until the next attempt.
In other words, that is over 2400 years of waiting.

This is not a fault. It is an anti-theft lockout and it is worth noting that no code generator, even an online one, will unlock it.

At the dealer you will usually hear: replace the radio, while at OEMatic it is more likely to be: “yes, we’ll unlock it — it takes 1 working day”.

How do you recognise the Daiichi radio in Fiat Ducato?

The Daiichi radio is a factory unit fitted in Stellantis platform vehicles since 2020. You can identify it by the distinctive label on the casing — with the DAIICHI Infotainment Systems and MOPAR logos.

Daiichi MY250 radio rating label from Fiat Ducato — DAIICHI Infotainment Systems, MOPAR, Stellantis P/N and Product name F7_250PSAw/DAB logos
Daiichi MY250 radio label — the manufacturer logo is visible, Stellantis P/N 07357819000 (Sevel) / 14411490ZD (Gliwice) and the MOPAR marking.

Identification data (from the rating label)

  • Manufacturer: Daiichi Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Turkey/China)
  • Model No: MY250
  • Product name: F7_250PSAw/DAB
  • Stellantis P/N: 07357819000 (Sevel) / 14411490ZD (Gliwice)

Location: The radio is in the centre console. To see the label, it has to be slid out — this usually requires removal keys or carefully prising off the trim.

Fitted in vehicles:

  • Fiat Ducato (2020+)
  • Peugeot Boxer (2020+)
  • Citroën Jumper (2020+)
  • Opel/Vauxhall Movano (2020+)

All these vehicles are based on the same Stellantis platform, which means they may be fitted with the same Daiichi/Mopar unit.

Lockout symptoms — what you see on the display

After several incorrect code attempts, the Daiichi radio activates the anti-theft lockout. The following message then appears on the screen:

Locked Daiichi MY250 radio from Fiat Ducato — the display shows the message WRONG PASSWORD WAIT 0 HOUR 1264539205 MIN FOR NEW TRIAL.
The WRONG PASSWORD message and 1 264 539 205 minutes of lockout — in other words, more than 2400 years before the next code entry attempt.

WRONG PASSWORD.
WAIT 0 HOUR 1264539205 MIN FOR NEW TRIAL

Those “1264539205 minutes” amount to more than 2400 years. It is worth noting that this is not a display fault, but the deliberate action of the security system. The radio counts failed attempts and with each one it extends the lockout time exponentially, in other words in leaps.

In this state the radio is practically useless. Even if you know the correct code, you cannot enter it until the counter runs down. The problem is that the counter does not decrease at all — the radio keeps freezing on this message.

Why won’t a code generator help?

If you look for a solution online, you will find dozens of websites offering a “Fiat radio code calculator” or an “online code generator”. Some are free, some are paid. In practice, none of them will unlock the radio in this state.

Why does this happen?

The generator calculates the code from the serial number. If the code is correct, everything works. The problem is that your radio already knows its code. It has not “forgotten” the password. It simply refuses to accept any code until the lockout time has expired.

The lockout is stored in the radio’s memory — in the same chip that keeps the counter of failed attempts. In other words, no online calculator has access to that memory. So it makes no difference whether you enter the correct code or the wrong one — the radio will not accept it anyway.

The only solution is physical intervention in the memory chip, i.e. resetting the lockout counter and re-entering the original code.

What will the authorised dealer do? What do we do?

At an authorised dealer, you will most likely hear one answer: replace the radio with a new unit. Cost? A few thousand, depending on the model and parts availability. Waiting time? Certainly not 1 day.

Why won’t the authorised dealer unlock the radio? Because the manufacturer does not provide dealers with tools to clear the lockout. Factory workshops have access to diagnostics, software updates and coding, but not to resetting security at memory level.

At OEMatic we take a different approach. Your radio is placed on the service bench, where step by step:

  1. We read the original code from the EEPROM memory, the chip in which the radio data is stored
  2. We reset the failed-attempt counter
  3. We enter the code and check the unit’s operation
  4. We send back a working, unlocked radio

Your radio comes back to you fully working — with the same code that was set at the factory.

The unlock process step by step

1. Remove the radio from the car

You need removal keys, available for a few złoty. Then carefully prise off the trim and remove the radio.
Finally, disconnect the plug at the back.

2. Pack it and send it to us

Wrap the radio in bubble wrap and put it in a box. Then send it by courier or parcel locker to our address. Shipping cost: Shipping details →

3. We receive it and diagnose it

Once we receive the parcel, we confirm that the lockout can be removed.

4. We reset the lockout and read the code

We clear the attempt counter in memory and read the original code stored in the radio. In other words, we restore access without changing the factory data.

5. We send it back with the code

The radio comes back to you by courier together with a note containing the code. You fit it, switch it on, enter the code — and the radio works again.

You can find a detailed description of the mail-in repair process in the section -> send for repair.

Which Daiichi radios do we unlock?

We unlock most Daiichi radio-navigation units fitted to FCA / Stellantis vehicles:

  • MY250 (Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper)
  • D716AF (navigation and DAB version)
  • M3000, M3001, M3003, P3000 (Fiat Punto, Fiorino, Qubo, Linea)
  • MY846 (Lancia Ypsilon)

If your radio label shows the DAIICHI Infotainment Systems logo — we can take on such a job. It makes no difference whether the lockout shows thousands of minutes or millions.

Got another Fiat radio — for example Continental VP1 or VP2? We unlock those models too.

Not sure of the version or model?
Send a photo of the label — we’ll check and confirm whether your radio qualifies for unlocking.

Frequently asked questions about Daiichi unlocking

Will I lose my radio settings?

No. The reset concerns only the lock counter. Station presets, sound settings and other preferences remain unchanged.

Will the radio work straight after installation?

Yes — provided that you enter the code you receive with the radio. You enter the code once, at the first start-up.

Is it legal?

Yes. We unlock a radio that belongs to you, at your request. It is the same service as having a key cut for your own car.

What if my radio has another fault?

If, during diagnosis, we find an additional problem (e.g. a damaged display or non-working buttons), we will contact you with a repair quote. The decision is yours.
