Mail-in repairs, available throughout Poland
Tomasz Mazurkiewicz is the founder and owner of the OEMatic brand – a workshop specialising in repairs of factory-fitted car radios, navigation systems and amplifiers. For over 15 years he has worked with OEM electronics, combining day-to-day workshop work in Sochaczew with postal servicing for customers across Poland. His published texts are based on real jobs – from identifying faults in audio modules and displays, through CAN bus diagnostics, to restoring security codes and soldering SMD components. He writes the way he speaks to customers: clearly and with an emphasis on what really works. Every article on oematic.pl is based on his own experience gained with factory car electronics.
Audio faults in lorries are rarely limited to the radio itself. The same symptom may result from the power supply, amplifier, aerial, wiring loom or communication with the vehicle. The key thing is to establish whether…
A memory problem in a factory multimedia system rarely looks like one obvious fault. The same module may freeze on the logo one time, lose settings another time, or request…
Telling a factory radio apart from an Android replacement is rarely possible from the screen appearance alone. In workshop practice, part numbers, connectors, communication with the car and response...
The decision to abandon repair should not be based on the symptom shown on the screen alone. The radio, navigation unit and amplifier may be only the visible part of a larger vehicle network. The cause may be damage…

An OEM car radio is part of the vehicle network, not just an audio device. One fault may involve the power supply, amplifier, screen, data memory or communication bus. That is why the symptom,...
A good description of the symptoms does not replace diagnostics, but it significantly shortens the first stage. The workshop can then more quickly distinguish a fault with the radio, navigation, amplifier, vehicle wiring, aerial, coding or software. It helps most…
Such an assessment can often be carried out without opening the casing of the radio, navigation unit or OEM amplifier. It is not a full electronics repair, but a structured external diagnosis. The main aim…
After repair of the radio, navigation unit or amplifier, adaptation, coding or programming is not always necessary. The key factor is mainly whether the original module with its configuration data preserved is being repaired. If the module…
The factory radio in many cars is not just a source of sound. It often handles vehicle settings, messages, the reversing camera, parking sensors, Bluetooth, navigation and steering wheel controls. The biggest chance to…
Contact with an OEM car electronics workshop is best treated as preparing documentation for diagnosis, not just describing a fault. A factory radio, navigation unit, amplifier or display often works as part of…
A quote for repairing a factory radio, navigation unit, amplifier or display does not always begin with removing the unit from the car. In many cases, symptoms, vehicle details, photos of messages and identification are enough…
