Mail-in repairs, available throughout Poland
Tomasz Mazurkiewicz is the founder and owner of the OEMatic brand – a workshop specialising in repairs of factory-fitted car radios, navigation systems and amplifiers. For over 15 years he has worked with OEM electronics, combining day-to-day workshop work in Sochaczew with postal servicing for customers across Poland. His published texts are based on real jobs – from identifying faults in audio modules and displays, through CAN bus diagnostics, to restoring security codes and soldering SMD components. He writes the way he speaks to customers: clearly and with an emphasis on what really works. Every article on oematic.pl is based on his own experience gained with factory car electronics.
When an OEM radio starts up normally, finds stations and connects the phone, yet there is still silence from the speakers, the problem usually is not with the sound source. This symptom narrows…
A loud bang from a speaker is not a normal symptom of factory audio operation and needs the entire sound path checking. It may come from the amplifier, but also from the radio, power supply, earth, or…
An OEM radio not reacting to the power button does not usually mean a faulty panel straight away. In many cars this button does not switch the power on directly, because the unit is still waiting for…
A radio screen that shows snow, flickers or displays stripes does not have to mean a cracked panel. In OEM systems the image passes through several components, so a similar symptom can be caused by the screen, ribbon cable, power supply…

A radio that works with the ignition on, but goes silent or switches off after the engine starts, usually points to a problem at the moment of starting. The symptom shows whether the system is losing power, communication or wake-up.…

After replacing the speakers, the radio most often does not fail on its own, but stops working properly with the wiring or OEM amplifier. The symptoms can look like a fault with the radio: no sound, crackling,…
An older car radio can stop working suddenly, but the cause usually lies in a few recurring areas. In practice, the problems concern the power supply, code memory, audio path, FM reception or a worn…
Problems with radio reception usually result from a fault in the entire antenna system, not just a damaged mast. The symptoms often appear after a radio replacement, body repair or after…
When the radio does not detect USB, the cause usually lies with the storage device, the connection path or the unit itself. Charging a phone alone does not confirm that USB is working properly, because the 5 V supply can…
A radio with a touchscreen fails differently from simple receivers, because it combines image, touch, sound and communication with the car. A symptom visible on the panel does not always point to a faulty screen,…
