Answers to questions about the PIN code and PS-4270B radio repair.
The radio has anti-theft protection. A power interruption, battery replacement or moving the radio to another car will trigger a PIN request.
After several wrong attempts the radio limits the number of tries, and once they are exhausted it displays “System is locked”. In the workshop we reset the counter and unlock it.
The PIN code is in the vehicle documentation from the dealer. If you do not have it, we will read the original code in the workshop and put it on the invoice.
No. We read the original code for your radio, and the radio itself does not need to be coded to the car.
If you decide not to proceed, the unit cannot be repaired or the fault is outside the module, diagnosis and return are free of charge.
