Unlocking the Zenec Z-E2015

It must be said clearly that on the aftermarket factory car navigation market, the clear leader is the German company Zenec. Anyone looking for a good-quality radio or navigation unit at a reasonable price turns to Zenec – especially if they drive a VW, Seat or Skoda. The Zenec Z-E2015 is another model included in the Komtel Serwis repair offer!

As you probably know, the radio supports steering wheel controls and communicates via the CAN bus with the car computer and displays. We won’t dwell on its capabilities, and you can find more information on the technical specifications on the manufacturer’s website.

Where can I find Zenec Z-E2015?

Users of the Z-E2015 model will find it in practically all VW models, and in SEAT: Leon, Alhambra, Leon and Altea, as well as Skoda – Rapid, Octavia II and Superb II (including estate).

The unit security code is chosen by the user. Once set and enabled, it will remain active until the unit is disconnected from the battery.

WARNING: We advise against entering random codes – the unit can become permanently locked, after which there will no longer be an option to enter the code. For Komtel Serwis this is not a problem – we will reset such a unit especially for you. To sum up – unlocking or, if you prefer, unlocking Zenec Z-E2015 is nothing more than recalling the device’s 4-digit user code.

Most common faults?

In Zenec multimedia stations these include: freezing on the logo, the entry counter being blocked, the unit resetting itself, and even a touchscreen that does not always work.

Don’t worry – if your radio has a fault completely different from those described, get in touch with us as soon as possible! Together we will solve the problem and try to repair the navigation system.
