Honda Connect is the factory radio / navigation unit produced by Fujitsu Ten / Denso, fitted to selected Honda models in Europe from MY2015. It is available with or without navigation. It was fitted, among others, in CR-V, Civic, Civic Tourer, Civic Type R, HR-V and Jazz.
You can identify it by the label on the housing with the Fujitsu Ten or Denso name. Check the part number on the label — in your enquiry you can send a photo for verification.
In your enquiry, describe exactly what happens when it is switched on. Send a photo of the label, then send us the removed module by courier — we check the module in our workshop.
The symptoms help describe the fault. We confirm the cause after checking the removed module.
After switching on, the logo or spinning wheel appears, the screen goes blank and the cycle starts again. The cause may be corrupted data in the eMMC memory. We check the module and determine the scope of repair after verification.
The screen shows a static Honda logo and there is no response to touch or buttons. The cause may be corruption of system data in the eMMC memory. We determine the scope of repair after verifying the module.
After a power loss or after fitting it into another car, the radio asks for a 5-digit PIN code. We read the code without modifying the software and verify it before sending it back.
When the system gets stuck in a loop, selected extra functions may stop working, for example clock setting, USB ports or dynamic reversing camera guidelines. We check the unit's operation during post-repair testing.
Once we receive the module, we connect it to the test bench and confirm the reported fault. After inspection, we confirm the scope of work and the price; we carry out the repair after your approval.
We replace the damaged eMMC memory with a new one and programme it with a stable software version. We confirm the scope of work after checking the module.
After repair we test the unit. If needed, we read the PIN code from memory and verify operation before sending it back.
We refurbish your unit, and after repair we test it and send it back securely packed.

You do not need to bring the vehicle in. Describe the problem and we will help you work out what to remove and send. After inspection, you will receive a quote for approval — only then will we start work.

A service absolutely worth recommending. After years of problems with the infotainment head unit in my Skoda Superb constantly freezing and resetting, the MIB was finally repaired. I recommend OEMatic — only 3 days passed from sending the radio to the workshop and having it fitted back in my car.
The radio from a Mercedes ML W164 2007 NTG2 BE 6089 had its fault diagnosed extremely quickly, and the repair was carried out just as fast.
Communication with Mr Tomasz was excellent, and updates from the workshop on the progress of the repair were sent promptly. This is definitely a workshop other people can learn from.

VW Touran radio, I sent it to the company because the reversing camera was not working and the radio would not turn on. Sent by courier. Diagnosis: no faults. (the fault needs to be looked for elsewhere) The radio was sent back quickly and the company did not charge anything, not even for the return postage. Definitely recommended. Very fast repair and very good, speedy communication. Information was available at every stage of the repair request process — an online repair management system. The unit (radio) was already meant to be written off and replaced with another used one. Fortunately, I accidentally found the OEMatic blog while looking for a replacement, and it saved me from replacing it with another used unit, which would have been a loss for the appearance (the fronts of the replacements I found were not in such good condition, and all of them were older than my unit from pre-facelift models); the newer ones were more expensive than the repair. So that’s a plus too.

For a long time I’d been battling an annoying problem in my VW Passat B8 — the car radio kept losing sound. Fortunately, I found OEMatic Car Media Lab and it was a perfect choice!

The Harman-Kardon amplifier in my BMW F33 was flooded, so I decided to hand it over to OEMatic. A quick check to see whether it could be saved — yes! it could! A few days later the amplifier was back with me after repair.
For a moment I also had doubts whether only the amplifier had been damaged by the flooding, because I lost the ability to set the time and information such as instant fuel consumption or average fuel consumption disappeared; after a phone call I was told that this can happen because of a break in the car’s CAN circuit due to the amplifier being absent.
The theory proved correct, and fitting the already repaired amplifier helped and all the functions returned.
I hope the amplifier will serve for a long time to come and without faults.

The content of the reviews I read quickly convinced me to have my unit repaired at OeMatic. I expected the highest quality of service at every stage and that is exactly what I received. After the phone call I received all the information needed for shipping by text message. As soon as the workshop received the parcel with the radio, I got a phone call, we agreed the details, I confirmed the price and the repair began. In the afternoon of the next day I was informed that the repair had been completed, I settled the bill and the radio was back with me after 4 days. It seems there is no room for even the slightest shortcoming in this company (such as a delay with a text message).

Yes. Disconnect the USB stick and other devices from the USB ports, then restart the system. If that does not help, send the removed module only for verification.
No. If you decide not to proceed, or if the unit cannot be repaired, or the fault lies outside it, diagnosis and return shipping are free of charge.
You change the graphic theme in the settings, the system asks for a restart and… it never boots again. Sound familiar?
You get in the car, turn the key, and instead of your favourite music the radio screen greets you with the message: “Enter PIN code”. Every attempt to switch on the navigation or change station ends the same way – with a request for a 5-digit code that is nowhere to be found. Sound familiar?
