A field appears on the screen asking for a 4-digit PIN code (“Master Code Request”). The unit will not unlock without the correct code. We read the original code directly from the module memory.
Has the “Master Code Request” message appeared and is the unit locked? We read the code from RadioNav / Instant Nav Magneti Marelli from Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Send the removed module with a description of the fault and we will check it and confirm whether the code can be read.

RadioNav / Instant Nav is a factory navigation radio made by Magneti Marelli. It is fitted to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta from 2010–2013.
You can recognise it by the large screen surrounded by buttons and the SD card slot at the top of the panel. The part numbers shown on the label are 156101806 and 156096933.
Please state in your enquiry whether you can see the “Master Code Request” message and whether the power was disconnected previously. You may send a photo of the sticker with the part number. Send only the removed module to the workshop.
The symptoms help describe the fault. We confirm the cause after checking the removed module.

Once the code request appears, the radio, media player, navigation and hands-free kit are unavailable. Restoring the functions may require reading the original code from the module.
The message may appear after the power is disconnected, the battery is replaced, or the module is removed. We confirm the cause after checking the module and read the code from memory.
After checking the module, we confirm the scope of work and the price; we only start the service once you approve it.
We connect the removed module to the service bench and read the original 4-digit code stored in the unit’s memory.
After reading the code, we test the unit, issue a VAT invoice and a written warranty, and then return the module safely packed.
We read the code from your module, rather than generating it with online calculators. After checking it, we confirm whether, in this case, the functions can be restored by reading the code.
You do not need to bring the vehicle in. Describe the problem and we will help you work out what to remove and send. After inspection, you will receive a quote for approval — only then will we start work.
01
Write what is happening in the vehicle, state the make, model and year. Add a photo of the device, the error screen or the nameplate sticker, if you have one. On that basis, we will initially assess whether we can help.
02
Not sure whether to remove the radio, screen, amplifier or another unit? We will advise which component to check, how to prepare it for shipping and how to pack the parcel safely.
03
In the workshop we carry out diagnostics, confirm the source of the problem and define the scope of work. We send a quote for approval. We only start work after your approval.
04
We remove the cause of the fault, test the device and send it back safely packed for refitting. Every repair we carry out is covered by a warranty.

It is a request to enter a 4-digit security code. The unit starts up, but remains functionally locked until the correct code is entered.
Yes, after checking the module. We physically connect it to workshop equipment and read the original code stored in the unit's memory.
No. We read the code directly from the memory of your module.
The code we read is the device’s original PIN; once entered, the radio and navigation functions should be restored.
No. If you decide not to proceed, the device cannot be repaired, or the fault lies outside the module, diagnosis and return shipping are free of charge.
Magneti Marelli radio-navigation systems in Alfa Romeo Giulietta often lock up after a power loss with the message “Master Code Request”. We offer physical retrieval of the original 4-digit PIN code directly from the unit, with confirmation of correctness on a test bench.
