Frequently asked questions and answers
Repair of Alfa Romeo Giulietta radios, navigation and amplifiers: booking, module shipping and quote.
Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta?
Yes — you can send in the removed factory module from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, provided the unit is original and has the sticker with the part number. We check only removed modules and do not work on Android replacements.
Is it worth repairing the radio or amplifier in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta?
We decide whether repair is worthwhile after assessing the damage and completeness of the factory module from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, as well as its agreement with the car description. Based on your photos and description we will provide an initial quote, with the final price confirmed after checking the removed module.
How is the repair quote for a module from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta prepared?
We provide an initial quote based on the photos of the unit you send and the description of the symptoms. We will confirm the exact price after checking the removed module; we will carry out the repair after your approval, and payment is by bank transfer or cash on delivery, with a VAT invoice.
How can I deliver the removed module from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta to the workshop?
Send the removed module from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta by courier from anywhere in Poland, or bring it to the workshop by appointment. Protect the screen and connectors, pack the module in a rigid box and fill any empty spaces; include any additional parts separately.
What should I prepare before booking a module from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta?
Before booking, prepare the make, model and year of the car, a description of the symptoms, and a photo of the front panel and the nameplate sticker. If you are not sure which items to send, describe the problem — we will ask for additional modules if needed.
Repair of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta radio and navigation covers two factory units used in this model in different years.
What units do we service in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta?
In the Giulietta we service RadioNav / Instant Nav (Magneti Marelli) from model years 2010–2013 and VP2 (Continental) from cars from 2014–2021. The Magneti Marelli unit has a large screen surrounded by buttons and an SD card slot at the top of the panel; you can identify the VP2 by the Continental manufacturer label on the casing.
How can you tell the problem lies in the radio or navigation module?
The symptoms depend on the unit. After losing power — for example after replacing the battery — the Magneti Marelli navigation stops on the “Master Code Request” screen and asks for a four-digit code; until it is entered, the radio, navigation and hands-free kit do not work. On the VP2 (Continental), a fault may be indicated by:
- freezing on the logo screen, with the touchscreen and buttons unresponsive,
- repeated automatic restarts every few minutes,
- a black screen while the radio is still working,
- no sound from the speakers despite the screen working.
What determines whether a repair makes sense and what do we check?
When submitting a request, give the car model and year, describe what is shown on the screen after the ignition is switched on, and attach a photo of the front of the unit and the sticker with the part number. On that basis we will determine which unit is involved.
For the “Master Code Request” message, we read the original code directly from the memory of the removed unit — we do not use online code calculators. On the VP2, the repair scope depends on the result of checking the unit. We repair factory units; we do not accept Android replacements. Before shipping, we prepare an initial quote from the photos and description, and confirm the final price after checking the module.
