This is a Bang & Olufsen amplifier manufactured for Audi by Lear. It was fitted, among others, in Audi A4/A4 Avant/S4 B8 (2008–2012), A5/S5 (2008–2017), A4 allroad (2010–2016), Q5 (2009–2017) and A4L (2009–2017).
The casing may be marked “10KANAL Most DSP”. To identify it, compare the part number from the label: for example 8T0035223C, 8T0035223F, 8T0035223M, 8T1035223A. The amplifier communicates via the MOST bus and is paired to the car (Component Protection).
In your enquiry, include the number from the sticker or send a photo of it and describe the symptom. Send only the removed module to the workshop — we check the module only, not the car.
A description of the symptoms helps determine the scope of repair. We confirm the cause after checking the removed module.
The music cuts out suddenly, the radio stays on and the display works. We check the module, locate the faulty components and propose repair or component replacement.
MMI switches on briefly, then turns off and there is no response. We determine the cause after checking the module.
Water from the boot can cause corrosion of components and tracks, which may lead to short circuits. We check the extent of the corrosion, clean the board, repair the tracks and replace damaged components.
If there is damage caused by a short circuit, module diagnostics may show fault code 13 or 14 and incorrect current draw. In that case, the amplifier does not switch on the power stages or the converter.
We test the removed module in the workshop, measure current draw and locate the damage. After inspection, we confirm the scope of work and the price.
We remove short circuits, replace damaged components and restore damaged tracks. In the case of corrosion, we restore the circuits and solder in new parts.
After repair, we test operation and check MOST communication. We protect the electronics against corrosion.
The amplifier is assigned to the car and protected by the Component Protection system. Below we compare repairing your unit with buying a new or used amplifier.

| Parameter | New from the dealer | Used, from the open market | Repair at OEMatic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Additional coding | May require programming (Component Protection) | May require programming (Component Protection) | We refurbish your unit, so programming another board can be avoided |
| Reliability of operation | A new unit may be exposed to corrosion | Buying used is a risk and a lottery | Function test, MOST simulation available and anti-corrosion protection |
You do not need to bring the vehicle in. Describe the problem and we will help you work out what to remove and send. After inspection, you will receive a quote for approval — only then will we start work.
01
Write what is happening in the vehicle, state the make, model and year. Add a photo of the device, the error screen or the nameplate sticker, if you have one. On that basis, we will initially assess whether we can help.
02
Not sure whether to remove the radio, screen, amplifier or another unit? We will advise which component to check, how to prepare it for shipping and how to pack the parcel safely.
03
In the workshop we carry out diagnostics, confirm the source of the problem and define the scope of work. We send a quote for approval. We only start work after your approval.
04
We remove the cause of the fault, test the device and send it back safely packed for refitting. Every repair we carry out is covered by a warranty.
