Zenec Z-E2015 is a radio from Zenec, a replacement for the factory unit dedicated to Seat models (including Altea, Leon, Alhambra), Škoda models (including Octavia II, Rapid, Superb II) and Volkswagen models (including Golf, Passat B6–B7) from around 2003–2015, depending on the model.
The unit supports steering wheel controls and connects to the car’s computer via the CAN bus and to on-board displays. The radio has a user-selected security code — a 4-digit code active until the unit is disconnected from the battery.
When submitting a case, provide a description of the symptoms and you may send a photo of the label with the part number. Send only the removed module by courier; we check the module at the workshop and confirm the scope of work.

Freezes on the logo
The unit gets stuck on the logo and does not boot up. We determine the cause after checking the module and carry out software repair or any other necessary work.
It resets by itself
The radio restarts or resets without your input. After checking the module, we will confirm whether software repair or component replacement is required.
Code lockout (4 digits)
The unit uses a 4-digit security code, and entering random codes may lead to a permanent lockout. Once we receive the module, we will check whether access can be restored and what work is needed.
The touchscreen does not work
The touchscreen may work incorrectly or stop responding altogether. We confirm the extent of the fault after checking the module and select the required work.
We inspect the removed module in our workshop, describe the faults and confirm the scope of work and the price before the repair starts.
Software repair
We can carry out software repair and make the necessary changes if, after checking the module, we confirm that this is the required work.
Component replacement
If a part needs replacing, we do it after confirming the scope; once repaired, we test the module and send it back safely packaged.
Repair your own unit or buy a used one?
We repair your own unit; we do not replace it with a used one from the market. You decide whether to proceed with the repair after the module check and approval of the scope of work and price.
You do not need to bring the vehicle in. Describe the problem and we will help you work out what to remove and send. After inspection, you will receive a quote for approval — only then will we start work.
Write what is happening in the vehicle, state the make, model and year. Add a photo of the device, the error screen or the nameplate sticker, if you have one. On that basis, we will initially assess whether we can help.

We repair, test and return
We remove the cause of the fault, test the device and send it back safely packed for refitting. Every repair we carry out is covered by a warranty.

Definitely recommended. Very fast repair and very good, speedy communication. Information was available at every stage of the repair request process — an online repair management system. The unit (radio) was already meant to be written off and replaced with another used one. Fortunately, I accidentally found the OEMatic blog while looking for a replacement, and it saved me from replacing it with another used unit, which would have been a loss for the appearance (the fronts of the replacements I found were not in such good condition, and all of them were older than my unit from pre-facelift models); the newer ones were more expensive than the repair. The Harman-Kardon amplifier in my BMW F33 was flooded, so I decided to hand it over to OEMatic. A quick check to see whether it could be saved — yes! it could! A few days later the amplifier was back with me after repair.
For a moment I also had doubts whether only the amplifier had been damaged by the flooding, because I lost the ability to set the time and information such as instant fuel consumption or average fuel consumption disappeared; after a phone call I was told that this can happen because of a break in the car’s CAN circuit due to the amplifier being absent.
The theory proved correct, and fitting the already repaired amplifier helped and all the functions returned.
I hope the amplifier will serve for a long time to come and without faults.
