Frequently asked questions and answers
Repair of radio, navigation and amplifiers for Škoda Superb II: booking, module shipping and quote.
Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in the Škoda Superb II?
Yes — we repair the factory radios, navigation systems and amplifiers fitted in the Škoda Superb II. We assess and repair only the removed module after checking the label, not Android replacement units.
Is it worth repairing the factory module in the Škoda Superb II instead of replacing it?
Repairing the factory module in the Škoda Superb II makes sense when the fault affects its electronics and it is possible to restore OEM functions. We will prepare an initial quote based on photos and a description, and confirm it after inspecting the removed module.
What does a repair quote for a module from the Škoda Superb II look like?
You will receive an initial quote for the Škoda Superb II module based on the description and a photo of the unit and label before sending it. We confirm the exact, binding price after inspecting the removed module and present the scope of work for approval.
Do I need to bring the car in, or can I send the module from the Škoda Superb II?
You do not need to bring the car in — you can send the removed module from the Škoda Superb II from anywhere in Poland or deliver it in person by appointment. Before sending, protect the screen and connectors and pack the module in a rigid box with padding.
What should you prepare before submitting a repair request for the Škoda Superb II module?
Before submitting, prepare the make, model and year of your Škoda Superb II, a description of the symptoms, and a photo of the removed module and the label. You will provide the part number if we ask; we will agree which items to send before removal.
Repair of the radio, navigation and amplifier in the Škoda Superb II includes checking and repairing the factory radio-navigation units fitted in this model.
What equipment do we service in the Škoda Superb II model?
In the Škoda Superb II model, we repair the following factory radio-navigation units:
- RNS310 (Bosch) – unit from approx. 2008–2014,
- RNS315 (TechniSat) – unit from approx. 2010–2015,
- RNS510 (Continental) – unit from approx. 2008–2016.
How can a fault be recognised from the symptoms?
Each of these units fails differently, so describing the symptom helps us narrow down the fault straight away:
- RNS510: loud pops and bass humming in the speakers, the welcome logo and screen going out in a loop, or a flat battery after standing,
- RNS315: the message “Please insert software CD!”, freezing and resets, no response to the power or NAVI button, non-working touchscreen,
- RNS310: white screen with the message “Software update needed”, a screen flashing after the brand logo, or corrupted colours and graphics after software loading.
What do we check and how do we quote the repair?
We check the removed module delivered to the workshop, not the whole car. We repair the electronics of the original unit; we do not accept replacements fitted instead of factory units, such as radio-navigation units with Android. We identify a genuine factory unit by the sticker with the part number.
We prepare an initial, indicative quote based on the symptom description and photos of the unit and the sticker; please also provide the car make, model and year. After checking the module, we confirm the scope of repair and the price, and we start work only after your approval.
