Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of radios, navigation units and amplifiers in Chrysler 200 I: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

Do you repair the factory navigation radio in the Chrysler 200 I?

Yes, we accept factory units from the Chrysler 200 I model, including the Harman Becker navigation radio. We do not repair Android replacements; you send in the removed module only.

What does the missing navigation database message mean in the Chrysler 200 I?

The message appears after pressing the navigation button and means the radio cannot detect the map database. The cause may be the hard drive, software, or main board electronics, which we determine after checking the unit.

How is the repair of the radio from the Chrysler 200 I priced?

We prepare an initial, approximate quote before you send the unit, based on photos and the description of the fault. We confirm the exact price after checking the removed module, and only start the repair after your approval.

Do I need to bring the car in to hand over the radio from the Chrysler 200 I?

No, only the removed module comes to the workshop, which you can send by courier from anywhere in Poland or deliver in person by appointment. Removal and refitting in the car are handled by a local workshop.

What should I prepare before submitting the radio from the Chrysler 200 I?

Please provide the car make, model and year, describe the fault and attach a photo of the front of the unit and the sticker with the part number. Also say whether the radio has been repaired before — this helps with the initial assessment.

Repair of the radio, navigation and amplifier in Chrysler 200 I at our workshop concerns the factory units for this model, including the RHW navigation radio (Harman Becker).

Which units do we service in the Chrysler 200 I?

In the Chrysler 200 I we service the factory RHW navigation radio made by Harman Becker, also fitted in other Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles. You can identify it by the RHW marking in the bottom right-hand corner of the front panel, next to the AUX socket.

How can you tell the fault is in the module?

The fault for which the RHW is brought in concerns navigation: the radio is on, but when the NAV button is pressed, instead of the map the message “Navigation Database Not Detected. Please Install Navigation Database” appears. The message does not disappear and navigation cannot be used. This symptom may be caused by a faulty hard drive containing the maps, a radio software error, or damage to the main board electronics, which means the radio cannot see the drive. We determine which of these causes applies after checking the removed unit.

What affects whether repair makes sense, and what information should you send us?

The scope of work depends on which of the three causes is confirmed and on the condition of the unit itself. For an initial assessment we need a few details from you:

  • car make, model and year,
  • a description of what you see on the screen after pressing NAV, preferably with a photo of the message,
  • a photo of the front of the unit and the label with the part number,
  • information on whether the radio has already been opened or repaired.

We repair factory units; we do not accept Android replacements fitted in place of the original radio. We confirm the price and scope of work after checking the module, and begin the repair after your approval.
