Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of the radio, navigation and amplifiers in Iveco Daily VI: booking, sending the module and quote.

Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in Iveco Daily VI?

Yes. We inspect and repair the supplied removed factory modules for Iveco Daily VI; we do not repair replacements fitted instead of factory units; we are an independent specialist workshop and offer nationwide mail-in service across Poland.

Is it worth repairing a unit in Iveco Daily VI rather than replacing it?

We assess whether it is worthwhile after inspecting the removed Iveco Daily VI module. Before sending it in, you can receive an indicative quote based on photos and a description, and we confirm the final price after verification and your approval.

How is the repair quote for a unit in Iveco Daily VI prepared?

An initial quote for Iveco Daily VI is prepared based on photos of the removed module, a description of the symptoms and the vehicle details before shipping. After inspecting the module, we will confirm the final price and carry out the repair once you approve it.

Do I have to bring the removed module from Iveco Daily VI in person, or can I send it?

Mail-in repair for Iveco Daily VI covers shipment of the removed module from anywhere in Poland – you send the module only, not the car. You can also drop it off in person by appointment; protect the screen and connectors and pack it in a rigid cardboard box.

What should I prepare before submitting a repair request for Iveco Daily VI?

Before submitting a repair request for Iveco Daily VI, prepare the car make, model and year, a description of the symptoms, and a photo of the removed module, panel and sticker. You do not need to know the radio name; we will ask for the part number only if it is needed, and the removal should be entrusted to a workshop.

Repair of the radio, navigation and amplifier in Iveco Daily VI concerns the factory Iveco NAV NIS (APTIV) navigation system, used since around 2014.

How do you recognise the NAV NIS navigation unit?

On the label on the back of the unit you will find the manufacturer’s name, APTIV, the part number and the IVECO logo under the barcode. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the label – we will confirm the model.

The navigation unit is dead and it blows the fuse

We repair the NAV NIS fault where the unit does not power on at all. The screen is black, there is no sound, and the power knob does not respond. On some units, as soon as the main connector is plugged in, the fuse blows straight away – this is known as a hard short circuit. This type of damage can occur when starting the vehicle with a booster pack or jump leads with a flat battery, when a voltage surge damages the navigation electronics.

A cracked display or freezing on the start logo are different faults – please describe them separately in your enquiry.

What does the repair decision depend on?

Depends on the condition of the removed unit. In your enquiry, tell us whether the car was jump-started, whether the fuse blows, and whether the navigation unit has already been opened or repaired. Attach a photo of the front and the label with the part number. On this basis we provide an estimated quote, and after checking the unit – the exact price. We start the repair after your approval. We repair factory units; we do not accept Android radio-navigation units installed in their place.
