Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Fiat Multipla radios, navigation units and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

I don’t know which radio is in my Multipla. How can I find out?

You do not need to work that out yourself. Send us a photo of the unit or fascia and the nameplate label, and we will read the part number from it ourselves if it is needed for assessment.

Do you repair the factory radio in a Fiat Multipla?

Yes, we accept factory radios, navigation units and amplifiers once they have been removed from the car. We check the supplied module, confirm the price and only repair it after your approval.

How should I describe an intermittent fault?

Write down the situations in which you notice it, since when it has been happening and what can be seen on the display or heard from the speakers at the time. Such information is just as useful to us as a description of a permanent fault.

Do I need to bring the Multipla to the workshop?

No, just the removed module sent by courier or delivered by prior arrangement is enough. We do not inspect the car, and you arrange for the unit to be removed and refitted on site.

Are photos enough to give a repair price?

Photos and a description are enough for an initial, indicative quote. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, and we only start the repair after your approval.

To arrange repair of the Fiat Multipla radio, navigation and amplifier, you do not need to know what the unit in the dashboard is called. Just describe the fault and show us the module in a photo.

A photo tells more than a name

Please send two shots: one of the unit or its fascia, and one of the nameplate label. From the label we read the part number and determine whether the module is factory-fitted; if the photo is illegible, we will ask for the number itself. This matters because we repair original radios, navigation units and amplifiers, and we do not accept replacements fitted in their place – for example Android radio-navigation units.

The fault described step by step

Write what happens from the moment you switch it on: whether the unit responds, what appears on the display, and whether there is any sound. Indicate whether the fault is constant or returns from time to time, and since when you have noticed it. Add the model year of the Multipla. Based on such a description and photos, we provide an initial, indicative quote.

The module at the workshop

We work on the removed unit. Once it has been delivered, we check it and confirm the exact price; the repair only starts after your approval. We do not assess the car, its power supply or the wiring. If the symptom concerns sound and it is not clear which module is responsible for the fault, we agree before dismantling what should be sent to us. Removing the unit from the car and refitting it remain your responsibility.
