Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Nissan Juke I radio, navigation and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in the Nissan Juke I?

Yes, we repair factory units from the Nissan Juke I and accept only original units identified by the sticker; we do not repair Android replacements. We are an independent workshop and inspect only the removed module you send us.

Is repair worthwhile instead of replacing with new or used parts in the Nissan Juke I?

Whether Nissan Juke I repair is cost-effective depends on the type of fault and the condition of the electronics in the removed module; based on photos and a description, we will provide an initial quote. We confirm the final price after inspecting the supplied unit and carry out the repair after your approval.

How is the repair quote for the module in the Nissan Juke I prepared?

An initial quote for Nissan Juke I module repair can be prepared based on photos of the removed unit, a description of the symptoms, and the car make, model and year. We give the exact price after checking the supplied module; repair starts after your approval.

Do you need to bring the car in for Nissan Juke I module repair, or is sending it enough?

You do not need to bring the car in; send the removed module or deliver it in person by appointment. Removal and refitting should be carried out by a workshop, and before shipping protect the screen and connectors and pack the module in a rigid box with padding.

What should I prepare before submitting a Nissan Juke I module repair request?

Before submitting a Nissan Juke I module, send the car make, model and year, plus a photo of the removed unit and the sticker. Describe its behaviour after switching on and whether there is a lockout message or a change when it warms up; we will ask for the part number if needed.

Repair of Nissan Juke I radio, navigation and amplifier covers two factory units: the Nissan AGC-0071RF / AGC-0070RF (Daewoo) radio and the Nissan / Suzuki LCN / MC EU (Bosch) radio-navigation unit.

AGC radio – display fades in the heat

In AGC-0071RF and AGC-0070RF radios we repair a display fault that depends on temperature. The text fades and disappears after a few or a dozen minutes of operation, and on a hot day the screen becomes unreadable. In winter, immediately after starting, the display works correctly, and the problem returns when the car interior warms up. It also happens that the screen lights up but shows no characters at all. The display module itself is faulty, not the radio electronics.

LCN unit – “System is now locked”

The LCN unit arrives with a permanent lockout. After ten incorrect PIN attempts, it displays the message “Incorrect PIN entered too many times. System is now locked. Contact your Nissan dealer.” The keypad for entering the code no longer appears, and the radio will not accept even the correct code. The lockout does not clear after waiting or after disconnecting the power supply.

How should I prepare an enquiry?

Write to us which unit you have and what is shown on the screen: fading text or a lockout message. If you do not know the model, a photo of the front and the sticker is enough. Give the car make, model and year. We check the removed unit, confirm the fault and provide a price; work is carried out after your approval. We repair factory units, not Android replacements.
