What is SLDA?
The abbreviation stands for Smartphone Linkage Display Audio – a multimedia system made for Suzuki by Bosch. The user can enable anti-theft protection in it and set their own PIN code.
“System has been locked. Contact your dealer”
This is the message with which SLDA arrives at our workshop. If code protection is enabled, after every power disconnection – even when replacing the battery – the radio asks for the PIN. After five incorrect attempts the unit locks completely and no longer allows the code to be entered. So if the radio is asking for a code and you do not remember the set number, do not guess.
What should be included in the submission?
Please write whether the radio is still asking for a code or already shows the lockout message, and what happened before it started. Give the make, model and year of the car and attach a photo of the front panel and the rating label. You do not need to know the system name – we will ask for the part number if it is needed.
We check the removed unit and confirm its condition. We provide an initial quote based on photos and the description, and the exact price after inspection. We carry out the work after your approval. After the repair, a new personal code can be set again. We repair factory units; we do not accept Android replacements fitted in their place.
