Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Alfa Romeo 147 radios, navigation units and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipment and quote.

Do you repair the factory radio and navigation unit from the Alfa Romeo 147?

Yes, we repair factory radios and navigation units from the Alfa Romeo 147, both Bosch and Magneti Marelli. Send the removed module with a legible sticker; we do not handle Android replacements.

Can dead pixels in the radio from the Alfa Romeo 147 be repaired?

Fading pixels, rows or columns are a display fault that brings Connect-series radios to our workshop. After checking the unit, we will let you know whether the display can be repaired or needs replacing.

How is the repair price for a radio from the Alfa Romeo 147 calculated?

We provide an approximate quote based on photos of the unit, the sticker and a description of the fault. We confirm the exact price after inspecting the removed module, and only start the repair once you approve it.

Can I send the removed radio from the Alfa Romeo 147 by courier?

Yes, we handle mail-in repairs from all over Poland, and you can also deliver the module in person by appointment. Send only the removed unit, protect the screen and connectors, and use a rigid box with padding.

What should I prepare before submitting a radio from the Alfa Romeo 147?

Prepare the car make, model and year, a description of the symptoms, and clear photos of the front panel and the sticker with the part number. Let us know whether the radio has already been repaired and whether you have the code for it.

Repair of the Alfa Romeo 147 radio and navigation units covers the factory equipment used in this model. We check the removed module, not the car.

Supported factory units in the Alfa Romeo 147

We work with the following units in the Alfa Romeo 147:

  • Alfa Connect (Bosch / Blaupunkt),
  • Connect / RNS4 (Bosch),
  • Connect NAV (Magneti Marelli),
  • Connect NAV+ (Magneti Marelli).

How can you tell the fault is in the module?

The symptoms depend on the unit. In Alfa Connect radios (Bosch / Blaupunkt), these are dead pixels on the display: at first individual dots disappear, and over time whole rows or columns, until operating the menu becomes difficult. In Connect / RNS4 (Bosch), stripes or dead pixels on the screen indicate a fault. In Connect NAV and Connect NAV+ (Magneti Marelli), after turning on the ignition, a screen appears requesting a four-digit code — “Master Code Request” — for example after disconnecting the battery.

Scope of repair, sticker data and replacement-unit issues

We check the removed unit and on that basis explain what scope of repair is possible. For display faults, we ask whether the unit has already been repaired elsewhere, because previous work changes the scope of the job. After repair, the Alfa Connect radio requires the code to be entered — if you do not have it, mention this in your enquiry.

Before sending it, describe the symptom and attach a photo of the unit and the legible sticker with the part number; the number allows us to identify the hardware version. We do not handle Android replacements fitted in place of factory units.

Based on the photos, we will prepare an approximate quote; we will confirm the exact scope of work after receiving the unit.
