It is better to describe how the unit behaves: what the screen shows, whether the sound works, and when the symptom appears. That description is more useful than simply guessing which component has failed.
Do you also check the power supply and wiring in the Mercedes?
No, we assess only the removed unit that is sent to us, without the car. You arrange vehicle checks, removal and refitting of the unit on site.

We only accept factory units, identified by the sticker with the part number; we do not repair Android radio-navigation units.

You do not need to know the radio name, and if a part number is needed for assessment, we will ask for it separately.
