There is no sound in the Ram 2500 IV. What should I send?
Nothing yet. First describe whether there is complete silence and whether the screen and controls work. Based on that, before removal we will indicate which components are needed for inspection.
How does the initial quote differ from the exact one?
The initial one is indicative and is prepared from photos and a description before you send the unit. We give the exact price after the module has been checked at the workshop, and that is the one you approve before repair.
Do you assess the condition of the wiring in the car?
No. We check the removed module itself, and we do not assess the condition of the wiring or power supply in the vehicle. Such checks should be carried out by a local workshop.
How do you know the radio is factory fitted?
By the sticker with the part number, which is why we ask for a photo of it. We do not accept replacements fitted in place of the original radio, for example Android radio-navigation units.
Does the repair start without my approval?
No. Between the initial and exact quote we do not carry out any repairs. We only start once you have accepted the cost confirmed after the unit has been checked.

No sound: the radio or the amplifier?
When there are sound issues, the symptom alone does not always show which unit has failed. That is why we ask you to contact us before anything is removed from the car. Describe whether the system is completely silent, whether the sound cuts out intermittently, and whether the screen and controls work properly. On that basis, we will tell you which parts we need to inspect.
Two-step quote
The first quote is approximate and is based on photos and your description, before the unit is handed over. The second, exact quote is given after the module has been checked at the workshop. In between these two stages, we do not carry out any repairs – we wait for your approval. This way you know the cost before we start work on the unit.
What we need from you
Please provide the car’s year and attach a photo of the front of the unit and the sticker with the part number. The sticker confirms that the module is factory-fitted; we do not accept Android replacements. You do not need to know the radio model name. Instead, write what happens when it is switched on and whether the fault occurs every time. Please remember that we check the removed module only. We do not assess the condition of the wiring or power supply in the vehicle.
