Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Nissan Note I radio, navigation and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in a Nissan Note I?

Yes, we repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier from a Nissan Note I, but only original units identified by the rating label. Please send the removed module, a description of the symptoms and a photo of the unit and label so we can carry out an initial assessment of the fault.

Is it worth repairing the module in a Nissan Note I instead of replacing it?

We will give you an initial, approximate quote based on photos of the removed module and a description of the symptoms, so you can compare repair with replacement. After inspecting the module, we will confirm whether the repair is worthwhile together with the cost breakdown, and we will only carry out the repair after your approval.

What does the repair quote in a Nissan Note I look like?

The quote starts with an initial quote based on photos of the removed module, a description of the symptoms and the car details you provide before sending it. After inspection, we will confirm the exact price and scope of the repair; we will carry out the repair after your approval.

How can I deliver the removed module from a Nissan Note I to the workshop?

You can send the removed module from a Nissan Note I yourself from anywhere in Poland, or you can also deliver the unit to the workshop by arrangement. Protect the screen and connectors, place the module in a rigid cardboard box with padding; pack small parts separately.

What should I prepare before sending in a module from a Nissan Note I?

Provide the make, model and year of the Nissan Note I, describe the symptoms and attach a photo of the removed module and a clear photo of the label. You do not need to know the radio model name; removal and refitting are carried out by the workshop, we check the delivered module.

Repair of Nissan Note I radio, navigation and amplifier covers the factory Nissan AGC-0071RF / AGC-0070RF radio (Daewoo) and the Nissan / Suzuki LCN / MC EU radio-navigation (Bosch).

How can the two units be told apart?

AGC is a Daewoo-made radio – the AGC-0070RF or AGC-0071RF designation can be found in the “Model No.” field on the sticker. LCN is a Bosch unit; its part number is also on the casing label, visible after removal.

What symptoms do customers bring to the workshop with?

Each unit has a different, clear fault. In the AGC radio, it affects the display:

  • the text fades and disappears after a few or a dozen minutes of operation,
  • in high temperatures, the screen becomes unreadable,
  • the screen lights up but shows no characters, or it turns black over time.

In the LCN unit, the issue is a lockout after repeatedly entering the wrong PIN. The screen shows the message “System is now locked”, and touching the screen or buttons no longer brings up the keypad for entering the code. The radio, navigation and hands-free system then stop working.

What affects the scope of work?

In the AGC radio, the display module is faulty, so we check whether the problem concerns only it, not the radio electronics. In the LCN, we confirm the lockout. In your enquiry, describe the symptom, state the car make, model and year, and attach a photo of the unit and the sticker. We provide an initial quote based on the photos and description, and start work after your approval. We do not repair Android replacements.
