Frequently asked questions and answers
Repair of Nissan Qashqai I radio, navigation and amplifier: enquiry, module shipping and quote.
Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in the Nissan Qashqai I?
Yes, we repair factory units after receiving the removed module and confirming the label with the part number. We do not repair Android radio-navigation replacements; you can send the module from anywhere in Poland or deliver it by appointment.
Is it worth repairing the factory unit in the Nissan Qashqai I instead of replacing it?
We assess whether repair is worthwhile after checking the removed module; once it has been assessed, we will set out the scope of work and only carry out the repair after your approval. Before sending it, you can receive an approximate quote based on photos and a description.
How is the repair quoted for the Nissan Qashqai I?
An initial quote is possible based on photos, a description and the label before you send the removed module. We confirm the exact price after checking the module and will carry out the repair after your approval; payment by bank transfer before return or cash on delivery, VAT invoice.
Do I need to come in with the Nissan Qashqai I, or can I send the module?
There is no need to bring the car in – you send us the removed module, which we check at the OEMatic workshop. You can also deliver the module in person by prior arrangement, and you leave the removal and installation to a local workshop.
What should I prepare before submitting a repair request for the Nissan Qashqai I?
Before submitting, provide the make, model and year of the car, a description of the symptoms and a photo of the unit, the panel and the rating label with the number. You do not need to know the radio model name; if necessary, we will ask for the part number and determine before removal what should be sent.
Repair of Nissan Qashqai I radio, navigation and amplifier covers the factory Nissan AGC-0071RF / AGC-0070RF radio (Daewoo), used in cars from around 2007–2016, and the Nissan / Suzuki LCN / MC EU unit (Bosch).
Locked LCN unit
After the power is disconnected, for example when the battery is replaced, or after buying a used car, the radio asks for a PIN code. If someone tries to guess it and exhausts the number of attempts, the unit locks permanently and shows the message “Incorrect PIN entered too many times. System is now locked.” From that moment on, no code can be entered, and the lock does not clear by itself. This is not an electronic fault, but a security feature – so if the radio is still asking for a code, do not guess it.
Unreadable AGC radio display
The fault in the AGC radio affects the screen and depends on temperature. In summer, or after the car interior has warmed up, the text fades and disappears, and the display can go completely black – then you cannot read which station you are listening to. At low temperatures, just after start-up, the display looks normal. The cause is a fault in the display module itself.
How do I send in the unit?
Tell us the make, model and year of the car, describe the fault and attach a photo of the unit and the rating label. You do not need to know the radio name – we will ask for the part number if needed. We check the removed module and confirm the fault, then present the scope of work and the price. We carry out the repair after your approval. We do not repair Android radio-navigation replacements.
