Repair of the Volkswagen Golf VI Cabriolet radio, navigation and amplifier includes the factory RNS315 radio-navigation system and the Dynaudio AMP600 amplifier.
Factory modules supported in the Golf VI Cabriolet
In the Golf VI Cabriolet we repair the RNS315 radio-navigation unit (TechniSat), used across the Golf VI range, and the AMP600 amplifier (Dynaudio, part no. 5K7035456/A) from cars with the Dynaudio system.
How do you tell a radio fault from an amplifier fault?
Describe what happens after the ignition is switched on – from the symptom we can initially identify the unit:
- crackling in the speakers followed by silence, a flat battery, or no communication with the amplifier point to the AMP600,
- the “Software Update” screen after switch-on, freezing, resets or no response to the power button point to the RNS315,
- a non-working touchscreen, a cracked display or unreadable discs and SD cards are hardware faults of the RNS315.
Scope of our work and repair conditions
We inspect the unit you send in; the part number from the label allows us to identify the version of the device. We connect the amplifier to our test bench and confirm in this way whether the fault is indeed in the unit. We repair the electronics of original factory RNS315 and AMP600 units, and we do not accept Android-type replacements fitted in place of the factory modules.
We prepare an initial quote based on the description and photos; please also provide the car make, model and year. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, and we start the repair after your approval. Before return, we test the repaired module.
