Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Suzuki SX4 I radios, navigation units and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in Suzuki SX4 I?

Yes – we repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifiers in Suzuki SX4 I, if it is the original module identified by the label. We check the removed module supplied and restore its functions without replacement; we do not service Android replacements.

Is it worth repairing a Suzuki SX4 I instead of replacing it?

Whether repairing a Suzuki SX4 I is worthwhile depends on the condition of the removed module and the possibility of restoring its original functions. We provide an approximate quote after photos and a description before dispatch, and confirm the final price after checking the unit.

How is the cost of repairing the radio or navigation in Suzuki SX4 I quoted?

For a quote for Suzuki SX4 I repair, we ask for the make, year, description of the symptoms and a photo of the panel and label before dispatch. We give an approximate quote before dispatch, and the final price and repair are agreed after checking the removed module.

How should I deliver the module from Suzuki SX4 I – by post or in person?

We accept mail-in repairs from all over Poland; you can also deliver the module in person by arrangement. Send only the removed module, properly secured in a rigid box; removal and refitting are carried out by the workshop.

What should I prepare before submitting a repair request for the module in Suzuki SX4 I?

Before submitting a repair request for Suzuki SX4 I, provide the make, year and description of the symptoms, plus a photo of the removed module with the label. You do not need to know the radio name – we will ask for the part number if needed; the initial quote is based on photos and the description.

Repair of the radio, navigation unit and amplifier in the Suzuki SX4 I concerns the factory Nissan / Suzuki LCN / MC EU (Bosch) unit – referred to in Suzuki as MC EU.

Bosch MC EU unit

This is a radio-navigation unit made by Bosch, identical to the LCN units from Nissan. You will find the Bosch part number on the casing label after removing the unit.

“System is now locked” lockout

On these units we deal with a permanent lockout after the PIN has been entered incorrectly too many times. After the tenth failed attempt, the radio displays a message ending with “System is now locked” and stops accepting any codes. After such a lockout, touching the screen or buttons no longer brings up the keypad for entering the PIN. The unit will not unlock by itself – neither after waiting nor after disconnecting the power supply. The radio, navigation and Bluetooth hands-free system then do not work.

What is the repair scope based on?

We check the removed unit and confirm that it displays the lockout message. In your enquiry, write exactly what you can see on the screen and after what event the radio started asking for a code – for example after replacing the battery or after buying the car. Provide the make and year, and attach a photo of the front panel and the label. We give an initial quote based on the photos and description, and confirm the price after checking the unit. We identify the factory module by the sticker with the part number; we do not repair Android units fitted in place of the factory radio.
