Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Suzuki S-Cross I radios, navigation units and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

Do you repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier in Suzuki S-Cross I?

At OEMatic, we check and repair the factory radio, navigation and amplifier units in Suzuki S-Cross I once the removed module is delivered. We do not carry out repairs on replacements fitted instead of the original system.

Is repair worthwhile instead of replacement in Suzuki S-Cross I?

Before repair, we check the removed Suzuki S-Cross I module and its label to identify the device version. Repair makes sense when the damage affects parts of the original module and its function can be restored; we confirm the offer after inspection.

What does the repair quote for a module in Suzuki S-Cross I look like?

Before sending, provide the make, model and year of the car, a description of the symptoms, and a photo of the removed module and the identification label; based on this, you will receive an initial quote. We confirm the exact price after checking the unit, and we carry out the repair only after your approval.

How do I send the removed module from Suzuki S-Cross I to the workshop?

You do not need to come by car – you can send us the removed module from anywhere in Poland or deliver it in person by arrangement. Before sending, protect the screen and connectors, use rigid cardboard and pack additional items separately.

What should be prepared before submitting a module from Suzuki S-Cross I?

Before submitting, prepare the make, model and year of the car, a description of the symptoms, and a photo of the removed module or panel and the identification label. You do not need to know the radio model name – we will ask for the part number only if it is necessary.

Repair of Suzuki S-Cross I radio, navigation and amplifier covers the factory Suzuki SLDA (Bosch) unit from cars from around 2015–2022.

What SLDA fault do we repair?

The symptom these units arrive with is the message “System has been locked. Contact your dealer”. It appears after the PIN code has been entered incorrectly five times and no longer lets you enter the code.

Where does the lockout come from?

SLDA, or Smartphone Linkage Display Audio, lets the owner enable anti-theft protection and set their own PIN. When protection is enabled, the unit asks for the code every time the power is disconnected, for example after replacing the battery. The problem starts when nobody remembers the set code: further attempts end in a complete lockout, and the screen sends you to the dealer. If the radio is still asking for a code, do not enter random digits.

Submission and unit assessment

For an initial assessment, we need a few details:

  • whether the screen shows the lockout message or is still asking for a code,
  • car make, model and year,
  • a photo of the front panel and the rating label.

We check the removed unit and its label to confirm the device version. We repair the factory SLDA module to the extent determined after inspection; we confirm the price before starting work and wait for your approval. We provide an initial, approximate quote in advance, based on photos and the description. We do not repair substitute units, for example Android units fitted instead of the original radio-navigation system.
