Frequently asked questions and answers
Repair of radio, navigation and amplifiers Dodge Challenger III: enquiry, module shipping and quote.
Can I send just the radio from a Dodge Challenger III, without the amplifier?
Which components to send is agreed before removal, based on the symptom description. In the case of sound faults, we may ask for the radio and amplifier together, because from the description alone it is not always possible to identify the faulty module.
The radio in the Challenger stopped working after the battery was disconnected. What should I write?
Describe in detail what is visible on the screen after switch-on, whether the unit responds to the buttons and whether there is sound. Add the car’s year and photos of the unit and the rating label, and we will prepare an initial quote.
How do I get a Challenger module to the workshop?
You send the removed unit by courier from anywhere in Poland. You can also deliver it in person, by prior appointment, and in both cases the car stays with you.
How will you know my radio is factory-fitted?
By the sticker on the casing, which shows the manufacturer’s logo and the part number. A photo is enough; on that basis we distinguish an original module from a replacement, which we do not repair.
Can I decide on the repair only after I know the exact price?
Yes, we only start the repair after your approval, that is, after checking the unit and confirming the price. Before that, you receive an initial, indicative quote based on photos and the description.
Below we explain how repair of the radio, navigation and amplifier in the Dodge Challenger III works at our workshop: which devices we accept, what we check and when you find out the price.
What devices from the Challenger do we accept?
Factory-fitted: the radio, navigation and amplifier. The original module has a sticker with the part number on the casing, and that is how we identify it. We do not repair devices fitted in place of the factory ones, for example Android radio-navigation units.
What exactly do we check?
We check the module that reaches us, not the car. That is why your description matters so much: write whether the unit powers up, what is shown on the screen, whether there is sound and whether the fault happens every time. If the symptoms appeared after a specific event, for example after disconnecting the battery, mention that too. Power supply and wiring in the car can only be checked by someone who has the vehicle in front of them.
When will I know the price and who decides on the repair?
You find out the price in two stages. First, based on photos and the description, we give an initial, indicative quote. Then, after checking the unit you have sent, we confirm the exact amount. You decide whether to go ahead with the repair: we do not start work without your approval. With the enquiry, include the car’s year and photos of the unit and the sticker; you do not need to know the radio model name. If the issue concerns sound, before removal we determine whether only the radio, only the amplifier, or both units are needed.
