Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of Ford Focus III radios, navigation systems and amplifiers: enquiry, module shipping and quote.

What will you ask when a Ford Focus III radio is submitted?

We ask for the car’s year, how the unit behaves, and a photo of the unit and the nameplate label. You do not need to know the radio model name, and we will only ask for the part number if needed.

Do I need to work out myself what has broken in the radio?

No, a description of what you see and hear is enough: whether the unit powers up, what the screen shows, and whether there is sound. We determine the cause after checking the removed module.

Do you accept the amplifier from a Focus separately, without the radio?

We accept factory amplifiers, and whether the radio is also needed depends on the symptom description. For unclear sound faults, we may ask for both units, and we agree this before removal.

When is the decision to repair made?

After checking the device you send us, we confirm the exact price and ask for your approval. Only then do we start the repair; the earlier estimate based on photos and description is for guidance only.

How do I send the Focus module to the workshop?

You send the removed unit by courier from anywhere in Poland, or deliver it in person by prior arrangement. Removal and refitting are left to the local workshop.

When you submit a Ford Focus III, we ask three questions. The answers decide how the repair of the radio, navigation and amplifier will proceed and which unit we start with.

First question: what exactly is not working

We are interested in how the unit behaves, not the presumed cause. Tell us whether the radio switches on, what appears on the screen, whether there is sound, and whether the fault is constant. Please add the Focus model year. If the symptom concerns sound and it is not clear whether the radio or the amplifier is at fault, we will agree before removal which parts need to come to us.

Second question: is the unit factory-fitted

We repair factory radios, navigation systems and amplifiers. Whether the module is original is shown by the sticker with the part number on the casing, so please send a photo of it as well as a photo of the unit itself or the panel. You do not need to know the radio model name, and we will ask for the part number only if it is needed. We do not accept replacements such as Android radio-navigation units.

Third question: do you accept the price

We quote the price twice. First as an initial, indicative estimate based on the description and photos. Then, after checking the removed module, we confirm the exact amount. Only then do we ask for your approval, and without it the repair does not begin. We check only the unit itself: the car, its power supply and wiring are outside our scope, as is removing and refitting the module.
