Frequently asked questions and answers

Repair of radios, navigation systems and amplifiers Opel Corsa D: submission, module shipping and quote.

I bought a used Corsa D and I don't know whether the radio is factory-fitted. What should I do?

Take a photo of the front of the unit and the sticker with the part number, and we will identify what is fitted. We repair original equipment; we do not accept Android radio-navigation systems or other replacements.

Do you check the wiring and power supply to the radio in the car?

No, because the car is not with us. We assess only the module that reaches us, and in-car measurements should be arranged with a local workshop, as should removal and refitting.

Which modules from the Opel Corsa D do you accept?

Original radios, navigation units and amplifiers. If there is a sound problem, before dismantling we determine whether the radio alone needs checking, or the amplifier as well.

When do you start the repair?

Only after your approval. Before that, you receive an estimated quote based on photos and the description, and after inspecting the delivered module we confirm the exact cost.

What should I describe if the radio works one moment and not the next?

Say exactly that: that the fault is intermittent. Add whether the unit powers up, whether it displays an image and whether it plays sound, and since when you have noticed the problem.

Repairing the Opel Corsa D radio, navigation and amplifier means working on the factory module removed from the car. From the outset we clearly say what we accept, what we do not assess, and what information we need.

What we accept, and what we do not

We accept original radios, navigation units and amplifiers. We do not repair Android radio-navigation systems or other replacements fitted in place of factory equipment. If you bought the car second-hand and do not know what is installed, take a photo of the sticker with the part number – we will identify it from that.

Our assessment limit

We check what reaches us, meaning the module itself. We do not assess the power supply or wiring in the car, because the car is not here with us. For that reason, the symptom description matters a great deal: tell us whether the unit switches on, whether it displays an image, whether it plays sound, and whether the problem is constant. Also mention when it started and whether the module has already been repaired.

How the enquiry works

You send us a description, the car year and photos of the front and the sticker. We reply with an estimated quote. If it suits you, you send the module, and we check it and confirm the exact cost. Only your approval starts the repair. For sound faults, we first establish whether only the radio is needed, or whether the amplifier is needed as well. You do not need to know the radio model name, and we will only ask for the part number if it is needed.
